Make It Erie

My name is Marnie Mead, and I’ve been cooking since I was 9 – that’s more than 40 years. It’s how I relax. It’s how I give back to my family. It’s how I discover the world.

My love of food allows me to travel, sometimes leading culinary adventures to Italy and France and someday to Ireland. But mostly I explore in my home kitchen. I try to use ingredients that are readily available to home cooks and can be sourced within 150 miles of my Lake Erie home. But that would exclude so many ingredients that are available today, such as olive oil, citrus and anything chocolate, so you will find those recipes here as well.
